Thank you for taking an interest in what I’m working on. This project aims to capture the wisdom and experiences of successful individuals, and I’d like you to be a part of it. The definition of “success” will be defined throughout the project. In my experience, if you ask one thousand people what success looks like, you will get one thousand different answers. Yet, the social definition of success portrays the need to be known by the masses (fame) and make large sums of money (riches), and that everyone has to strive for a more flashy and extravagant lifestyle. This is the inspiration that is put forth for us to aim for. Often, it doesn’t always match an individual’s views of success. So, I want to show the many versions of success and that it is okay if your definition of success does not match society’s.
I’m working on this from multiple angles and have prepared a questionnaire you can complete at your convenience if you choose to participate. The information you provide will help me move the project forward.
However, the main focus of this project is that I want people to hear the many definitions of success so that they can see that their definition is not so different from anyone else’s. So, I’m also scheduling times for us to have a conversation in which we can discuss and unpack your experiences and definition of success.
In short, I want you to be a part of this project. You have a unique perspective on success, and I’d like your thoughts and voice included in the discussion. So, I want to formally invite you to participate whichever way you feel comfortable.
Your insights would be invaluable to aspiring individuals seeking guidance and inspiration. While I’d love to chat with you, I understand you are busy. So you can choose which option works for you.
