itBit’s Auto exercise tracking of my run

My 2-mile run turned into a 2.5-mile run. I almost didn’t want to stop. After a short stretch with Fitness Blender, I was ready to take on the rest of my day.
I continue to test the FitBit Blaze although, I wasn’t too impressed with the way the app tracked my run.  Today, I used the Nike app to actually track the run,  and let FitBit auto track my movement.  Since Nike and FitBit do not talk to each other, this was the best solution so that I do not lose my run data from Nike and TomTom watch, I have too many runs loaded to completely let it go completely.

30 days: Day 18- Testing the Blaze

I love my wife!  I have been stressing about my TomTom watch since it started malfunctioning. In an effort to allieviate my stresses, she handed me her Fitbit blaze saying, “here you can have mine!” When I suggested I use her TomTom she looked at me with a straight face and said, “Ah, no!” To be fair, when she does run, she’s all business and I can’t blame her reluctance to give up her TomTom.

So, I continue my training without my running partner. The Fitbit Blaze is going to take some getting used to, but here is another mile in the books.

30 days: day 17

The first week of school is always a stressful time for me.  Trying to get my kids prepared, as well as getting all of my tasks completed, usually keeps me up late at nights.
I was able to run this evening. Which I must say was a tremendous triumph over yesterday’s run which was nothing but pain.   Today I tried these calf sleeves for my outside run.   Although I felt 0 pain, I’m not sure if it was because of the sleeve or the lower distance.

Day 17, 1 mile in the books

By the way!  I said goodbye to my TomTom Sports watch today, it completely died on me after yesterday’s run.  😢
