Corey L. Stokes is a retired Air Force veteran with over 23 years of distinguished military service, specializing in Information Management. During his career, he supported numerous offices with his expertise in computer technology, culminating in his service at McConnell Air Force Base with the Office of Special Investigations.
Driven by a passion for helping others, Corey began financial coaching in 2018. He recognized the critical link between financial preparedness and overall well-being and began offering financial advice through blogging and coaching sessions, guiding individuals and families toward smarter financial decisions.
Corey furthered his expertise upon his military retirement by becoming a certified financial coach. Recognizing the interconnectedness of finances and overall life satisfaction, he expanded his focus to include life coaching, addressing aspects like productivity, leadership, and personal growth alongside financial literacy.
Corey is currently the Director of Sedgwick County’s Department of Central Services. His role with Sedgwick County allows him to continue to mentor others and guide his employees toward their personal and professional goals.
With a strong academic foundation, including two Bachelor’s degrees (Information Systems Technology and Accounting) and a Master’s degree in Information Technology, Corey is a published author of two poetry books and one children’s book. A devoted husband and father, he is driven by a purpose to improve his community, one person at a time.
