What do you do if I tell you to give me another rep?
That’s right. You gave me one more of whatever it was that we were doing. We push ourselves beyond our perceived limit to provide that extra bit more—that extra push. We view it as encouragement and motivation to succeed.

But the word Rep doesn’t have its own definition. Although it was added to the dictionary. It’s defined merely as a shortened version of repetition. So when I say give me another rep, what I’m asking for is a repeat of a certain action. I’m encouraging it.
In the financial world, when I say budgeting requires you to do the reps. It’s the same thing. I am encouraging you to push yourself and to stick to a budget— yes, it’s hard, yes the last attempt was a struggle; and yes, you want to put it down because you can’t bear the weight any longer. But it’s in your best interest to push through and give it all you have! To go beyond your perceived limit and give it another try.
These exercises are not for us to perfect it in one push. Whether we are weight training or trying to get our money situated. It’s for us to advance ourselves and remind us that we can do the hard things. All it takes is one more rep.
