Happy Financial fitness Friday!

I hear over and over again people say they need to get a gym membership or they don’t have specific equipment to work out properly. But, you don’t need any of that!
Now, I get going to the gym for accountability (I’ll talk about that in another post). But you don’t need a gym or equipment to stay fit. Especially if the cost of it doesn’t fit into your budget.
Bodyweight exercises can give you just as good and intense of a workout as any workout you do in the gym. It is all about the effort and time you give it. When I first started exercising I had 15-minutes. I came up with a routine that included 5 exercises that I could do from anywhere, at any time, and every week
A mix of push-ups, sit-ups, squats, lunges, and, a run comprised my beginning workouts. All I needed was the space and time to do it. What I discovered was, I didn’t need a lot of space. I’ve included a link to a routine that I used early on. 15-30 minutes is all you need to get a great workout.
I’m not saying you should not get a gym membership. If you can afford to do so, then, by all means, have at it. Just remember to include it in your budget.
If, however, you want to get a workout and don’t have a gym membership. Here you go!
Stay physically and financially fit!
