A question can up recently asking when do I find the time to workout? Well, I’m lucky enough to have the time during my lunch break to get a workout in before I grab a bite to eat. My wife completes her workout right when she gets off of work. But the truth of the matter is we find the time to do the things that we want to do. Just like with money, we find the space in our budget to do the things that we want.
I started out trying to start my day with a workout. But that never seems to happen the way I want it to. So, I found a time that worked for my schedule. Now, every day, right around lunchtime I head to my gym at home and workout before I enjoy my lunch.
I had someone tell me that they didn’t have the money to do something that they needed. But soon after, the same person found the space in their budget to make a large purchase. They didn’t get a huge raise over night. No, they prioritize the large purchase.
I used to tell people I work as hard as I do because I love to eat. The truth is I see being able to enjoy the foods that I want as a reward for all of my hard work. So, I prioritize my workouts and make sure I complete them during the day.
