30 days: day 16a

There are some days that reaching your goals will just not happen.  This was my day Day 16 of running.  Nothing I did would have helped me to accomplish the goal.  So for Day 16,  I ran 0-miles. Even my FitBit activity was low for this Sunday.

You don’t fail until you stop!

I try not to get upset with myself when I miss a goal. Then, I remembered my post from a few days ago. The only way you don’t accomplish your goal is if you stop trying.   So today, I pick up where I left off on Day 16. 2 miles in the books!

This was a painful 2-mile run

  1. I had a 2 mile run today too that was particularly painful. It looks like I will have to take your journey from a few posts ago, in regards to finding the right shoes, to heart and get there. It’s cutting it a little close to my next race, but if I don’t do it today then the race probably shouldn’t happen anyway. I don’t want to risk getting seriously injured over something I could have possibly prevented.

  2. Definitely check your shoes! And check with a doctor to make sure everything is working the way it should be. It may just be a matter of stretching or strengthening those muscles. Keep me posted!
