Today In History, July 19

One of the ways I try to engage my children in learning, along with science projects is to look at a bit of history.  Growing up, I often heard the phrase, you can’t know where you are going, if you don’t know where you have come from.

I was recently reminded that the history of a day holds many stories of  triumphs, failures, tragedies and excitements.
