Make yourself Indispensable

Of my top ten favorite authors, I’d have to say that Seth Godin is among the top five. So when I came across his interview with Bryan Elliot (@BryanElliot), I just knew that there would be some great information about to come.

Bryan discusses  Seth Godin’s book Linchpin, and what does it mean to be a linchpin?  In the discussion SethSeth Godin Linchpin Say, With this book, “it is personal”  Not personal to him but personal to the reader. It is personal because it forces you to take a look at your own efforts and what you are doing to make sure you are not dispensable in your relationship or in your profession. It forces you to answer the question How do I make myself indispensable in my area?

If you haven’t seen the video with Bryan Elliot yet I encourage you to watch it. And If you have not read Linchpin, I highly urge you to make this book a must read.
